Shiitake is a Japanese mushroom and daikon is a Japanese radish. I remember being impressed with how the Japanese produce was now being sold using the Japanese names instead of English translations: like "Nashi" instead of "Japanese pear".

Cleaning is a nice cleansing feeling, isn't it? Just got rid of all our empty bottles and cans yesterday (26 large trash bags full!)

Lauracoarse gold girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06004484019542589905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9137044632467935627.post-64277072566512022622009-01-16T10:14:00.000+09:002009-01-16T10:14:00.000+09:00Hello from the U.S.A!!I haven't the slightest idea...Hello from the U.S.A!!
I haven't the slightest idea what ozoni is..??? However, we did spend our New Year completing an extreme clean-up, or as I call it, "Bag it or Box it" -- bag/toss anything and everything that I haven't touched in 6 months, any out of style clothes, things I wonder WHY I ever purchased in the first place -- box/label/store ESSENTIAL and IMPORTANT items only (i.e. Wildcat Diploma). It feels wonderful! Clean home, clean and uncluttered mind and a since of accomplishment and peace. Long comment re: cleaning, but that is just how important and empowering it is~~~~
Happy 2009

JeanJeepiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13687453964942814361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9137044632467935627.post-48600074090838444452009-01-11T23:58:00.000+09:002009-01-11T23:58:00.000+09:00Hi CGG, Nice to see your writing again...We did o...Hi CGG,
Nice to see your writing again...We did osoji as well.
